About The Award
The Jefferson County League of Cities' Peyton Hoge Public Service Award is presented annually to an individual or individuals who demonstrate "extraordinary service, dedication and time to a Jefferson County Home Rule City, the JCLC and the Metro Louisville community." The award has been given since 1994 in honor of former City of Anchorage, Ky. Mayor Peyton Hoge III.
Selection of the award winner is made by JCLC’S President from nominations made by the JCLC Board of Directors. It is presented at the JCLC Annual Dinner each year.
